GYHTY Stranded Loose Tube Non-metallic Strength Member Cable

The GYHTY optical cable structure involves placing 250μm optical fibers into loose tubes made from high-modulus materials, with these tubes filled with a water-resistant compound. At the center of the cable core is a glass fiber reinforced plastic (FRP), around which the loose tubes (along with filling ropes) are stranded to form a compact and circular cable core. The gaps within the cable core are filled with water-blocking grease, followed by the extrusion of a polyethylene inner sheath. The cable is then wrapped with a layer of aramid yarn and finally coated with a polyethylene outer sheath to complete the cable.

Characteristics:

Good mechanical and temperature performance

Aramid yarn strength member ensures good performance of tensile strength

High strength loose tube that is hydrolysis resistant

Special tube filling compound ensure a critical protection of fiber

Crush resistance and flexibility

The following measures are taken to ensure the cable watertight:

Single Fiber Reinforced Plastic as the central strength member

Loose tube filling compound

100% cable core filling

standard:

GYHTY cable complies with Standard YD/T 901-2001as well as IEC 60794-1.
